The global rice export landscape is reshaping under a flood of supply, shifting policies, and volatile markets. According to the striking graphic above, global exports reached 88.4 million tonnes, led overwhelmingly by India with more than 33 million tonnes.
Although meat remains a primary source of protein in many regions, seafood—including fish and other edible marine species—has steadily gained popularity as a widely consumed protein alternative.
The global fish catch is a critical indicator of the health and productivity of our oceans, as well as a vital component of the world's food supply and economy.
